Version 2.6.3 : Cannot Drag and Drop Widgets

    So, I’ve looked all through the FAQs and past forum threads looking for an answer to this problem, and I have found a few instances of similar problems in previous versions of WordPress. However, the problem in all these cases was a problematic plugin. I have not actually installed any plugins yet, and still the problem persists. Basically, I cannot drag and drop widgets in the widgets.php admin screen, meaning that in order to reorder them I have to delete them all and add them in the desired order…very tedious. Also, in my two-column theme, all attempts to add widgets to sidebar 2 ends up adding them to sidebar 1. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? Thank you in advance for your time.

    Well, I wouldn’t exactly say I “figured it out,” but I did find a way to fix it. I reinstalled wordpress, using Wise-FTP instead of FileZilla. For a reason beyond my technological ken this worked.
