Can’t login to my website!

  • I can’t log in to my website. I keep getting these messages.

    First got:
    ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output. For help, please see this documentation or try the support forums.

    So, deleted Cookies and caches, but still no change.

    I’m also getting message:

    I looked at other responses to people not being able to log in. I haven’t downloaded any new plugins, no idea how to get into cpanel. I went through godaddy and everything seems up to date there. I have no idea how to solve this but I need to get into my website to update it as my business relies on it to be uptodate. I can’t reset password either as I just get a whole bunch of other messages, doesn’t even take me to a reset page!

    Please someone help!

  • Looks like your currently active theme is causing this. Use some FTP program or cPanel and navigate to /wp-content/themes/kallyas/ then rename /kallyas/ folder. That should make WordPress to reset to TwentySixteen or so theme and you should be able to access your dashboard.

    I am getting the “ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output.” too. I’ve performed a fresh install using WP 4.3 & 4.7, and once I am done installing, even before I enter my login info, the wp-login page shows that msg above the login.

    I’ve tried renaming the twentysixteen and twentyfifteen theme folders (so as to force it to default to the twentyfourteen theme, but it’s still not letting me into the dashboard.

    Thank you @sinip. I called GoDaddy and they helped me log in and disable the theme. The theme was broken. I can now log in, but unfortunately, now I don’t have a functioning website.

    @davehs, I’m using Filezilla to log into my website and disable the theme from there.
