403 Forbidden error after moving website to new server

  • Hi, I have just moved my website to a new server and now all of my delightful download files show a 403 forbidden error when I try to open/download from the website.

    If I upload a new file, it works fine.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi there, I recently moved to a new host and ran into the same issue. I looked into my file structure and made sure all the CHMODs were as they were supposed to be and this didn’t fix the issue. So, I decided to simply uninstall the Delightful Downloads plugin and then reinstall it. This fixed the issue for me.

    Side note: when I reinstalled the plugin it retained all of the downloads that I had previously uploaded including the shortcodes.
