Header Pattern vs Colour

Instead of changing the colour of the header row, is there a way to change it to a background pattern, much the same way as adding a background pattern to a <div> tag in html like follows?

<div style=”background-image: url(‘https://website/………png’);”>
<h4 style=”text-align: center; color: white; font-size: 100%;”>TEXT HERE</h4>
</div>
