Hello – I am having a major issue with this plugin. All of the posts when clicked on in the frontend of the site are redirecting to the homepage. It is doing this on multiple sites of mine. Can you please tell me what would be causing this and how to alleviate the issue? I have already reset my permalinks multiple times – no success. Thank you in advance for your time.

  • 1. Disable all plugins except this one. See if it’s still an issue. Enable plugins one by one, see which one is causing the problem.

    2. Check server logs, see if there are errors. There is way to little information to do anything.

    3. The plugin itself it doesn’t do redirects.

I disabled all plugins, the issue still persists. The page in question is: here. I even reset permalinks to “Plain” and it still isn’t working. It is doing this on only the posts that are built using the Custom Post Type maker. Regular blog posts do not have an issue. Thank you in advance for your time.

Here is a link to the regular blog post that works successfully. click here

This is not the plugin. You’re prepending a post slug that already exists. Sorry but I’m not providing support for WordPress configuration or theme issues.

Ok, so I’ve resolved this. For others interested, I simply went to the custom post type (in this plugin on the dashboard) and clicked “Update”. I then went to the Permalinks and hit save and it worked. Coincidence, I’m not sure, but whatever it was, it fixed it.

OK, rather strange bug. It applied just to updated installs. I’ve released a fix in v1.1.1
