    Hey everyone,

So I moved my wordpress directory, did what I was supposed to do, and most of the stuff seems to be working. I have a static front page with links to pages I created with wordpress, so it’s like a CMS.

I can access the admin control panel, edit posts, and all that. When I try to actually view the posts or pages, however, I get a “500 Internal Server Error.” I don’t understand what has happened because my posts are still accessible within the database, but I can’t get to them in my web browser as part of my blog.

I think it’s some kind of permalink error. How can I find out the URL of an individual post so I can figure out how to link to it?

    Thanks for any help.

The blog itself still works? In that case I think your WP admin isn’t looking at the right place to find the posts. Perhaps the edit post link is incorrect…?

    I know I wasn’t super clear.

I CAN edit posts via the WP Admin. I CAN go into my MySQL database and access the post as well. BUT when I type in https://www.mysite.com/2008/04/25/post-name/ I cannot get to the post. In my permalink options, I have it set to follow that style.

Maybe that clarifies some things. Thanks for helping.

Nothing clarifies until you give a link… so the helpers can see it for themselves.
After the move did you reset you permalinks?
