    Hello,

I just installed this version of Cooked to test it out before I upgrade to the Pro version. It seems there is some kind of bug that is preventing any change in the link color — they will stay white no matter what I change in the setting.

    This is the site: hearthealthykitchen.org

The timer, serving yields, any links within the plugin stay white. I have tried changing the link color in the WordPress settings, as well as within the Plugin settings but neither works. I hope you can help?

I have contacted the site host and they say that it could be something in the Plugin is overriding the site template’s link color settings. Or vice versa. I’m hoping that you can shed more light and help me out?

    Thank you!

From what I can see via the console, that white link is being set by something else (maybe the theme?):

Thank you so much for the quick reply.

I am having difficulties with my current website host. They use a website builder called “Sidekick” and built-in templates. So I am unable to change any of the stylesheets.

Will this issue be resolved if I installed your theme “Basil”?

Would I also be able to post recipes without having the annoying “posted by… on… category, etc” line and also remove the underline from the post title? (see screencap —

I also just discovered another issue: the quantity of ingredients does not show up on the page:

Is this another conflict with the sitebuilder or template that is being used on my site?

Thanks for the offer, Justin! I’ve just sent an email with the login details to you.

The quantities were not showing up until I entered a “Servings” on the Nutrition tab. I’ll make sure this gets fixed in the next update, but for now just be sure to enter a servings amount here:

Look for a v1.1 update later today to fix this issue as well as add some new features. ??

    Thanks for using Cooked!

@boxystudio I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
