Content Options – display text created with more tag?

  • I understand the options with the Customizer “Content Options” for Blog Display to show the excerpt and featured image.

    Is there a way to display the blog text created with the more tag instead of the excerpt? Or is that a feature that is currently in the works?

    I have a site with 800+ posts, where the author used the more tag. Excerpts weren’t created for each post.

    Hi Deborah,

    In the content options, please enable the option to display the “full post”.

    I know this somewhat counter intuitive, but enabling that option will display text up until the point where the more tag has been added.

    You can also use the content options to display featured images on the blog and archives pages.

    If this doesn’t work for you, please:

    • post a url to your site
    • post a screenshot of your content options settings

    I don’t think it’s documented anywhere for Jetpack’s content options.
