What’s up with endpoint options?

    hi there:

    I’m enjoying Download Monitor plugin thus far, but confused on why there are options for endpoints if it doesn’t allow for anything other than default values?

    — First, I tried to set up the Downloads Page with an endpoint which included a parent page. Invested time troubleshooting & researching Support Forum; Discovered Download Endpoint works if there is no parent page.

    — But then, link shown only re-directed to same page. Invested more time troubleshooting & researching; Discovered link would at least go to an error page if I set endpoint value to SLUG rather than ID.

    — Continued troubleshooting & research; Discovered download link works if I remove the Download Endpoint altogether (i.e. use the default “download”).

    If I am missing something, please advise, but what is the point of having an option there to change Download Endpoint if you can only use the default value?

    Please note the endpoint option is only to allow you to change the word “download” in the dynamic URL’s we generate. So you can change it to anything else such as “files”, “freebies”, etc.
