• Hey guys, i want to thank anyone who can try to help me with this ahead of time and also mention im not a technical person so if i refer to things not by their proper tech name i apologize

a few days ago i added a plugin called wp-minify, then yesterday hostgator shut me down and said that i was using to many resources, when looking at the process list i kept seeing this: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

so I googled that, found others talking about it and installed the heartbeat plug in, i thought that fixed the issue and hostgator said it did too and they put my site back up

but now its clearly not fixed, when looking in my processes i am seeing certain things show up at 3000-4000% cpu usage, one of which was the minify plug in which i deleted, again i thought that fixed it, but clearly there is still an issue, i cant do anything in my wp-admin page

i have been obsessively refreshing my processes and this one seems to be the biggest current issue: /opt/php56/bin/php-cgi /home3/singleguys/public_html/index.php

it pops up from time to time with a 1000-3000% cpu usage, far more than anything else, though the admin ajax thing does show up from time to time

honestly i am completely lost, hostgator support really isn’t helping me much, this is so far over my head that i dont even know where to begin

this forum has helped me before, i hope that it can again ??

but how am i supposed to avoid it if they pull the site?

The best advice anyone can give you would be to start looking for a new hosting provider. You can get well informed in one of the best forums – https://www.webhostingtalk.com/
Get your website full backup and move asap.

thanks, would you say tsohost is a better option?

I’m not going to recommend anything, I don’t have such a wide knowledge about various hosts. ?? That’s why I suggested that you go to that forum and do some reading, maybe even posting some questions. The people there are pretty well informed.
