No Exclude Scripts Breaks Site

With my theme (Sahifa), I need to add jquery.min.js to exclude scripts or the homepage slider doesn’t load.

Can you add it back and add a message “For advanced users, usually unnecessary” or something, until you have the replacement for this function? Speed takes a major hit by turning off defer entirely.
