• In admin users screen if we click on any other role, we get a list of users with that role, like “Editor” for example. BUt then we click on “No Role” we get users who are not in the no role category. This is a single WP installation not network fka MU.

Is there an easy way to get a list of “No Role” users? Open to any solution – tricks I did not know, plugin or if not that, then I can seek help in the “Hacks” subforum and write my own plugin.

  • “No Role” is not a default user option. If you are adding this role via a plugin or via a child theme’s functions.php file, then it’s possible you will need to make the changes there to also add that link to the admin page. How are you adding the “No Role” role?

    Thanks for responding.

They were added by accident either through the user edit screen &/or a batch import that was not well formed. Occasionally they are added intentionally as a way to disable a user’s access.

But my question is about how to list them, not how they got there.

I’ve accidentally set a user to role to no role as well and don’t see them to change it. Not sure what other plugin this might have been, seems like a native role.
