• Yes, it’s free, but the banners are so cumbersome espicially when installing other SEO plugins/ Google related ones as sitemaps.
    So not good.

  • Hi @rafy777,

    Can you elaborate what exactly is cumbersome about the banners? They are separated from the settings on the right side (or at the bottom in mobile). A 1-* review is pretty harsh if your only comment is: The banners are cumbersome. We offer a whole lot more than just the banners. Everything else in our plugin doesn’t have any value at all for you? Is something broken? Is it not working for you?

    Thanks for your time and review!

    How can you give a one-star review for a few banners you don’t like. Very unfair! The guys at Yoast are doing a great job helping your site be more visible on the web. And it’s a free plugin!

    I bet you still have the plugin installed. So ungrateful.

    Wordpress should make a rule that if you give a one-star review you should not be allowed to use the plugin!

    @rafy777 I’ve archive your reply. It’s fine to reply to reviews but do not make that reference here again, OK?

    @jdembowski Thanks for the note, apologies if I went overboard. Can I ask you if you think that Nick whatever is rude? Is it not rude to assume, make assumptions, and then state (WordPress should make a rule that if you give a one-star review you should not be allowed to use the plugin!).

    @jdembowski Can you please see to that too? OK ? OK ?

    @nickhiltermann,
    The reviews at www.remarpro.com are different from a review system you’d see at a marketplace. The sole purpose of a review is to give feedback of the user’s experience with the plugin or theme. Whether their experience was poor (1 star) or great does not reflect the actual functionality of the plugin. It is only their experience of the plugin.

    Please don’t discourage people from making reviews.

    I thank you dearly for making this forum better for everyone and encouraging freedom of voicing our feedback.

    @rafy777
    Maybe we can improve the plugin experience for you if you could provide us with some feedback? See my previous message ??

    You can if you listen to me and many users. First when I install another plugin such as Googlemap XML (or something similar) your plugin nags me constantly about it, and this notice cannot be removed. Also your ads to your paid services, I hope they can be shown once then removed. Your nags about updates etc…

    This is all SO intrusive its tiring, I actually uninstalled it.

    Thanks ??

    Hi @rafy777,

    Thank you for replying ??

    When you install another plugin such as Google XML sitemaps, it will conflict with our own sitemap and might hurt your site. You should either disable our sitemap or the other plugin. You can also hide this message if you really want.

    Our ads are needed to continue development and keep the free plugin up to date. The ads are on the side of the screen, not right in the middle of the settings or anything. If you buy Premium, they are removed ??

    Updating is important, for security, bug fixes, and new features.

    In fact, you should be able to hide every notice (except for the one to update your PHP) and disable features you don’t like or use.

    Thanks again!
