How do I get characters in place?

    I’d like to write my blog in hungarian. That should involve the use of characters like ? and ?. When I write these letters and save I get question marks as a result.
    Can anyone please help? Thanx.
    And sorry if there is another topic dealing with this problem, I couldn’t find it.

    Tnx. Unfortunately, I cant use the hungarian version of WP, because of my host. So, I’m stuck.

    ok – can you drop in an .mo file or is that why you can’t do it?

    /wp-content/languages/hu_HU.mo

    I deleted these two lines from wp-config.php:

    define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);
    define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);

    It helped. Thanx.
