REMOVE THE SHOP PAGE

  • hello,
    I dont want to use the shop page.
    From my home page, users can click directly the categories pages, so the shop page is useless.
    Via woocommerce/settings/products/display/shop page, i selected the homepage as new shop page. It’s a mess. The homepage layout got messed up.
    I searched for hours on the internet. Most of the people want to skip the shop page because they have only one or very, very few products. This is not the way i can follow.
    Most of the online shops dont use any shop page, the user just choose a topic (grocery, books). So this must be a very common issue. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

    Unfortunately i can′t post a URl because it′s under development and hidden from public view.

    I noticed that the online stores build with woo have mostly the useless shop page still active, but with no button linking there. Just button linking directly to the product categories.

    I think i will do the same, even if this is not a very elegant solution.
