• Hey everyone. OK, so, I’m just switched over from WP.com to WP.org so that I can both further customize my website, and also set up Woo Commerce (I’m not quite there yet).

I have the latest version of WP installed, and my current theme is “Customizr” (which, I’m not married to, and am more than willing to change if it makes this process easier).

Basically, what I’m trying to do is set up an image based navigation menu in the header area of my site with responsive buttons that are also images that are linked to the respective pages they lead to. I would like to lay these out as I see fit and not have them be scrambled around everywhere if it’s possible.

I’ve already laid it out in Adobe Photoshop, and now I’m ready to start transferring it over (BTW, every element is a separate layer, just in case there is a need for certain elements to be uploaded separately or what have you).

Honestly, the nav bar is probably the most complicated part of my desired design (the rest is just neat standard pages, a call to action widget here or there, basic stuff I can probably figure out).

I would like to go ahead and clarify that I know nothing about code, and if I had it my way, I’d be using WP the same way you could use Intuit Homestead to just drag and drop elements willy nilly and do as you please.

I hope none of this comes off as pompous or anything. I’m just confused and really eager to get things moving with this website. I really am into the vision I have, and I really appreciate the help.

    Thanks everyone! ??
