Hi, I removed the Sub page titlebar (Home) in Customizing ? Header area Header settings. Now I would like to remove the white space. I know its padding but I’m not sure where using custom CSS.

Currently have a maintenance screen showing

  • Hi @smokerm,

While I am new to WordPress, before someone can get to you with a response that may be more likely to work, I will fashion a guess for you…

Display the sub page titlebar and right-select it’s area (to get the ‘inspect element’ feature that is at least in Firefox) to see how it is displayed in the CSS or PHP code.
Once you have that, you may be able to then go to the Customizer again and to custom CSS and add that code in with ‘display’ set to ‘none’ or something along that line.

    Hello @smokerm,

as permaea said it’s always worth a try using the web developer tools in your browser. These are giving you the option to select the area with the mouse and most likely you will get which class/style is causing the padding.

Can you please provide a link to the page? If it’s in maintenance it may be enough to provide a screenshot of the space. Otherwise it is hard for me to provide the right code.
