Hello Sander,
This error is probably caused by faulty HTML. It looks like there are table cells in your template without a wrapping table element around it. Is this with a custom template or are you using the default Simple template?

If you’re using the Simple template, it’s quite likely that another plugin is trying to output data into the PDF. You could try to enable HTML output (status tab of PDF Invoices) to see if you can find what this could be.
