Error After Submitting Order Form

  • Hello!

    Lately, I have been getting an error when trying to submit an order form on my website powered by Woocommerce. I am using Network Merchants for my payment gateway if that helps any.

    The error I’ve been getting is:

    Gateway Error: Please notify the store owner about this error.

    The gateway isn’t able to send any information to the payment server. It could be a problem with the gateway or a problem with your host.

    So how should I go about resolving this? Contacting both my hosting provide and gateway provider?

    I’d ask that the gateway developer increase the timeout of their requests from 5 seconds to something higher, so if the request is slow for whatever reason it does not error so soon.
