I installed wordfence yesterday. Today, I get a HTTP ERROR 500 when trying to reach my site. I disabled all plugins, then tried to activate wordfence and get this error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘=>’ (T_DOUBLE_ARROW) in /home/bullbor/public_html/rivul.com/akronstake/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceScanner.php on line 394

    Any idea what’s going on?

  • Hi John,
Did you try to delete the plugin’s files and re-install it again via the Dashboard?

If you are still encountering this error even after reinstalling the plugin, try to disable other plugins -temporarily- and activate Wordfence alone.

Let me know how it goes,
    Thanks.
