Labels or Placeholders?

    I’m curious to hear best practices for using this plugin. I’ve tried several options including the recent blog post from Elegant Themes that shows how to do this with a few modifications and some CSS. I found it to be incomplete and it breaks if you use radio button fields.

    So, regarding field labels and placeholders. What is best? I like the look of the Divi forms without the labels, but I can’t just turn off the labels across the board because there are no placeholders for fields like radio buttons.

    Thoughts? Best practices?

    Well, I disagree. My reasoning is that the plugin says “This plugin adds the same styling for Gravity Forms as Divi Theme has for its own forms.”

    The Divi forms do not show a label and instead, they use a “placeholder” label. Your plugin doesn’t do that. So, to actually make this plugin live up to its claim, I asked that question.

    That said, I really appreciate the work it took to create this plugin. Other than the labels, this thing is spot on and is by far the best option out there.

    This plugin adds the styling, not functions. This is a Gravity Forms option. You can hide the labels and add placeholders to any fields of your choice. There is no need to control it by my or any plugins.
