Autoptimize effecting DW Promo Bar?

  • Hi Guys,

    Im hoping you can help me. I currently run the DW Promo Bar plugin on my site (not currently live) across the top of my site. However, installing Autoptimize has seemed to cause conflicts with this and is now causing the plugin to display incorrectly, appearing as text only and in the footer of my site?

    Is there anyway you can advise how I can fix this as I ideally need to be able to use both of these plugins.

    Afternoon Chris;
    You might have to exclude “dw promo bar”‘s CSS or JS from optimization. have a look at the troubleshooting tips in the FAQ for more info on how to do that.

    Thanks you so much for the speedy reply, however, i’ve looked over the FAQ page and can’t find how I would be able to do this….

    Is there anyway that you could take a quick look to see if theres an easy way?

    well, did you try adding something like dw-promobar to AO’s CSS and/ or JS optimization exclusions?
