• I have a very strange issue. I’m developing a site at localhost/alternativewinepackaging with a fresh install of WP. The home page is to display post summaries, and it does when at the root: https://localhost/alternativewinepackaging. However, I have created a menu through the WP interface, and it assigns the Home posts page as localhost/alternativewinepackaging/home – and that doesn’t show any post summaries. Under Settings > Reading I have checked Front page displays your latest posts. I’ve done a work-around by creating a custom link in the menu that points to the root, but am I missing a more obvious setting within WP so as to not horse around with custom links?

Another tidbit to add; I have another site using the exact same theme/child. In the other site I see in All Pages the posts page (not the home page) showing next to its title: -Posts Page. The Home page in alternativewinepackaging in All Pages does not have that remark. Is that significant?
