pictures do not show up on multi(sub)site

I see what you mean – I’m wondering if the issue is specific to Dyad, or if there might be something else impacting the images.

If you test another theme, like Resonar, do featured images work?

I’m particularly curious about the main featured on the first post, with Resonar that on loaded as a background (like Dyad) while the following posts are inline image elements.

Interesting. Now we know it isn’t specific to Dyad, so that’s progress.

Even more interesting is that one image that does appear. On Dyad the featured images are all backgrounds. On Resonar, it’s a mix. The first post is a background, and the rest are inline image tags.

With this Resonar test we now also know that distinction isn’t the source of the problem, since both are failing (except in one case).

If I had to guess, I’d say there’s something in your multisite setup that’s preventing the theme from accessing the media files. You might want to try posting in the multisite specific forum for advice:

@shireling, thanks for pushing in the right direction.
I was able to troubleshoot the problem by disabling all plugins and then enabling them one by one, trying each time if making a fresh post with featured image still works. I found the problem to be my plugin: MU Featured Image
I have reported to the developer of the plugin.
