White Screen of death after update to 1.4.8

    After installing Update 1.4.8 a white screen of death appeared in admin panel, I disabled the plugin via ftp and then tried to activate plugin again and following error appears.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/404-redirected/includes/admin.php on line 793

    Have this white screen of death issue on 3 pages on my system.

    Any idea how to fix it?

    Apologies for the troubels you’re experiencing. We’ll start looking for a fix and update the plugin as soon as possible.

    It turns out your WordPress site is using an old PHP version which was causing the issue. We’ve released version 1.4.9 just now that mitigates the issue you were experiencing. Update to it and you should be fine again.

    You should, by the way, really start moving your site to a newer version of PHP. You can read here about why it’s smart on many levels to move to a newer version of PHP.
