Adding thumbnails to post

    Hey there everyone I was wondering if you could tell me how to add thumnails to posts. I have the zinmag-redux theme. Im following the directions in the pdf file but I think Im missing something I even tried the add field thing. Any insight would me much appreciated

    Are you thinking about a thumbnail of an image with a link to the image itself? Or are you thinking about a category picture?
    As the first is done from the media-uploader, right after you’ve inserted your image.

    not really I just want something there othere than one of those red x things here my site is mikecustalow.com check it out and youll see what i mean. (i literally only have 2 things on there right now cuz ive been stuck with this proble) thanks for you help man

    Make sure the image is in wp-contents/uploads

    Then, create a custom-field with “homethumb” as key, and set its value as the name of the image.

    That’s pretty much it!

    Ahhh im tearing my hair out!!!!! that didnt work.. thank you everyone for your help but either im too stupid or my theme just plain hates me. I think im just gonna give up and leav em as x’s

    You can give it a try with an other theme… there are lot of Magazine style themes out there… Yes, I like this one too, but think about your visitors experience:mikecustalow.com
