• Hello,

here is me again with another silly question, sorry.

My Tickets works like a charm and we are verifying the QR ticket’s codes with a QR reader linked to a pc. Now, data (i.e. the address for verification) are incoming, the address opens up in a browser and the ticket verified, but… we need to manually open a new tab for each ticket. ??
If we scan the QR code with a mobile phone, it opens up a tab automatically (or, worse, a new browser window).
If it is a browser’s issue, please discard my question.

    Many thanks in advance

What I’ve used is a QR code reader that automatically opens a temporary browser window, then all you have to do is hit back to return to the QR code reader. But there are a lot of different QR code readers, and you’ll want to experiment with different readers and settings to make sure it works the way you need it to do. I’ve used Scan.me for iOS and QR Code Reader for Android.

    Thanks Joe,
reactive and precise as usual. I’ll let you know because what we want is to scan with a physical reader linked to a pc in a remote location (remote == in another room :D) so we are not going to have a physical access to the pc during the scan.

I’ll see Scan.me and QR Core Reader and let you know. Thanks again
