Disable hero pic preloader

  • Hi guys,

    We’ve built our website https://www.seomonitor.com on Stratus theme and we have a problem with the preloader of the hero pic, as we cannot disable it. It is very upsetting to see the first screen loads last, even though the rest of the website is already loaded. This results in a high bounce rate as our visitors see a white screen and a loader. We tried disabling the loader but it doesn’t seem to work. How can we fix this? Thank you! Gabriela

  • @gabilungu have you tried to contact the theme authors? Since this is a theme built-in feature they should be able to better assist you. As an alternative you could find a plugin to display your hero pic and replace the corresponding code in your theme files with the new plugin shortocode.

    @vitorargos Thank you for your suggestion, I will contact the theme authors and see if they’ll manage to help me fix the issue.
