Share buttons do not appear in category archive pages

  • Hi,

    Although in “WordPress Settings > Share” I set share buttons to appear in Homepage, Archives and Search results, share buttons do not appear in Category archive pages.

    Neither the checkbox “Show Share Buttons” appear in the backend page of the Categories.

    How can I show share buttons in category archives pages without having to use another share buttons plugin?

    Could you try switching to one of the default themes like Twenty Sixteen for a few minutes, and let me know if the buttons start appearing?
