• I’d like to modify the wordpress header to look to the site I want to migrate (at least make it look the closest to it) . I have the logo and a tab system to know what part of the site are you visiting to.
If this not could be done, or you know any way that is better to do this in wordpress, please tell it to me.
I’m a newbie in wordpress, I installed it today. ??
Sorry the site is only in spanish.
    Thanks a lot,
    Khriz

  • This is going to require extensive editing of both the CSS and index php. If you would like a pre built solution to get you started I would be pleased to suggest you considered Vesuvius WP interface. It may look different but it is very close to the functionality you want. It is also pre fitted with an hnav so you will be nearly there. The rest is just arty stuff – typography – graphics etc. A walk in the park ??

I’m sorry, I din’t express it correctly, I have already designed the site but the header, I’d like to know if someone knows how to do something similiar to the tab system I have in the site. The Vesuvius style looks great but I don’t need the three columns, I alreadey decided to drop off one column.
    Anyway thanks for the answer,
    Khriz

hmm.. well, Root seems to be doing a sorta tab system on his site. if you don’t get that, try the supernav on binary bonsai.

I use Xara Menu Maker. You can make tabs with it and place them in your template where you want them to show up. You can see my tabs here. You can check out Xara Menu Maker here.

I think many of us here would counsel against using JavaScript in navigation elements. It can cause a whole host of problems for some users. We are into CSS rollovers. ??

OK…I’m all for that. Get me started. How do you do that?

The full heads up on this is at Listamatic
