You’d need to talk to Elliot, the developer of ACF about that. I have developed this plugin with a specific goal, and actually for a specific client, that needed a user friendly way to make modifications to small pieces of text without needed a full wysiwyg editor to do make those changes. Everything supplied by this plugin available, in one way or another, in the wysiwig. Also, I’ve found that when overused this field can significantly reduce the performance of your admin, no differently than adding too many wysiwyg fields does and why I added the delayed initialization feature. While I think that this plugin has it’s uses, or I would not have created it, I don’t personally think that it would be a good idea to add medium editor to all field types.
