Post Password: Not Working 2.6.3 and 2.6.2

    A number of others have had the same problem as I but have not found a solution yet.

    When trying to post with a password, the post correctly displays “this post is password protected…, etc.” However, when the correct password is entered the page refreshes and does not show the passworded post. This happened for me in 2.6.2 and I’ve since upgraded and still happens in 2.6.3. Also I’ve attempted disabling and even deleting all plugins (except Aksimet). I use the default permalinks so that’s not the problem.

    In previous versions (up to 2.5.? I think) the passworded post work properly. Some people were having this problem only in one browser — it happens for me in both Firefox (Mac 3.0.3) and IE 7.0.57…

    Workaround or permanent solution appreciated…Maybe this can be fixed in 2.7?
