Can’t install your plugin

  • Hi, I was trying to install your plugin both direct via my WP backend, and by downloading the plugin and uploading it.

    At the backend the Install button is not pressent on the plugin page, and because of this I am not able to install the plugin.

    I have a screen shoot of it but am not able to attach it to this message.

    When I upload the plugin it just said cold not install.

    Have you canceled your plugin?

    Hello Katrine,
    I have certainly not canceled my plugin, I haven’t had any other reports of this either. Which version of WordPress do you use? Which PHP version?

    My WP version is 4.7.3

    And the PHP version is 5.6.30

    I tried to have a later PHP version but that crashed my site

    Another thing is that I have no problems installing other plugins

    It certainly works with PHP5.6

    It actually sounds like the plugin is already installed… You can check your wp-content/plugins folder. If the plugin is installed it’s under wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/
    Remove that if you want to reinstall.
    Otherwise please do post the screenshots here. You can upload them with a site like imgur and then put the link in the forum post here.

    Usually at the plugin site says install or active if the plugin is already installed

    Very strange… It almost looks like some plugin is blocking you from installing this ??
    Have you checked the plugin folder via FTP?

    It was no problem for me to install a similar plugin with almost same functions as yours, but I actually liked some of your functions better.

    I have not looked at the plugin folder via FTP, and I have just checked if I already have your plugin installed, but I havn’t

    This is a screen shot of the plugin installation page, where you can see that I can Install other similar plugins but at your plugin, the install button is missing.
