    Hi,

I have moved a live site from a live server to a development server hosted using MAMP and some of the plugins and active theme get a HTTP 500 error. I don’t know that much about PHP so any help you guys can provide would be very useful. I moved the site using the plugin Duplicator. The errors that are returned are below:

“PHP Warning: Parameter 1 to wp_default_scripts() expected to be a reference, value given in /Users/Deco-pak/Documents/2017 Files/W/Websites/Playpit Sand/wordpress/deco-pak/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 600”

    “PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /Users/Deco-pak/Documents/2017 Files/W/Websites/Playpit Sand/wordpress/deco-pak/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-product.php on line 874”

I’ve tried changing the ports inside MAMP to some that I saw on a tutorial and it just makes the whole site not work.

    Many Thanks
    Sami

  • hi,
HTTP 500 error usually occur for corrupted files incase when you move the site.

try a fresh download of both the core Wp & plugins.

you can even try a fresh start by following site move guide in here.

from my experience on site move the only problem is the URL changes.

the error message you are getting does not look like URL change problem

Thanks for your reply. I decided just to find an alternate piece of software to use and this has fixed the problem.
