admin-ajax.php errors, cannot send newsletters anymore

    I’m running the latest version of Nifty newsletters with extensions for Pro and Woocommerce.

    The last newsletter sent out was on 2/16, just before the last 3 updates…

    Just tried sending a newsletter and am getting

    Every time i try changing a setting, the plugin takes me to a blank page that says “Are you sure you want to do this?” with no other words or buttons to confirm. In the console is this error during settings changes:

    When trying to send out a newsletter it will say “Waiting for other campaign to finish sending” – even though there is no other campaign…

    In console of the Newsletters page is this error that repeats over and over every few seconds:

    In the Settings page the plugin is also indicating that my license key is invalid, even though it should be good for another entire month, it says “We cannot verify your API key. Is your API key active?”.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    We’ve found that the most recent update, which includes a variety of additional security checks are conflicting on some pages – as a result of this, settings can’t be saved in some cases, and additional functionality such as API keys being validated is likely affected by this too.

    We’re working on a fix for this and will be releasing it as soon as possible (this week).

    Please update to version 4.0.18 as this fixes the above errors that you were experiencing.

    Hey Jarryd,
    I ended up switching to a different newsletter plugin as I couldn’t wait, appreciate you getting back to me via this thread though. Good luck with your plugin, even with bugs once in a while it *is* nice to have multiple options for a self-hosted newsletter system – so thanks for supporting the community ??
