• I’m trying to figure out how my media uploads end up with a hardcoded absolute filename, rather than just starting with ../wp-content.

When I upload an image and check the database entries that WordPress created, I end up with with a _wp_attached_file key of “D:\inetpub\worch\wp/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/foo.jpg”. That’s BS, since a) this is a UNIX server which doesn’t have a d:\ drive, and b) hardcodes the file location.

This blog used to be on a Windows IIS server, but I moved it to a UNIX server. Somewhere in the settings, something is still making WordPress hardcode an absolute (and obsolete) path. The actual image references work, btw. Any ideas?
