Comet Cache not working– already compressed?
-
I am using Autoptimize, which suggests I use Comet Cache also. I installed Comet Cache and activated it and turned it on. I got this message on my pages:
<!– Comet Cache is NOT caching this page, because Comet Cache is unable to cache already-compressed output. Please use
mod_deflate
w/ Apache; or usezlib.output_compression
in yourphp.ini
file. Comet Cache is NOT compatible withob_gzhandler()
and others like this. –>I don’t understand what to do. I would gladly turn off whatever it is that is compressing the output. I don’t have W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache installed– no other caching plug-in either– but I do have “Check and Enable GZIP Compression.” I would like to have the advantages of Comet Cache. What should I do?
(I figured it out– turn off “Check and Enable GZIP Compression.”)
