Theme not Supported, No Visual Composer…Whats next?

  • Hey guys,

    I have a friend who has updated to WP 4.7.2 and Visual Composer has disappeared. He’s using the Cumulo Theme which looks like it stopped being updated after WP 4.3.

    If i cant find a solution I’ll roll back to WP 4.3 but if I update VC to the most recent paid version, is it likely to work or will it not because of the customisation that the theme developers have done?

    Any clues would be much appreciated.

    To be honest, I’d say that’s a pretty clear signal that it’s time for a new theme. If support for the theme was discontinued so long ago, you’ve got nothing to look forward to but a long road of running into problems with no solution.

    And, to see how well they’re supported, simply hit the “View support forum” button on each theme’s page.

    Odds are that the visual composer plugin is out of date, your friend may need to buy a license in order to get updated.
