    I have the WP Discord widget in the footer of this page: https://artifactium.com/

    1.) I cannot figure out how to get the Join Server button to appear. The bots are successfully working on the server and it does show the users so it must be connected. Is there something I’m missing?

    2.) Is there a way to turn off the plugin always being centered? It moves other plugins in the footer under or above it even though it is not that wide.

    Thanks!

    @nweatherford,

    1.) Just some clarification. The bot is only required for channel posting, not the widget. To show the join server button the plugin has to see a url returned from discord. Please make sure that you have selected an instant invite channel. in the “INSTANT INVITE CHANNEL” section. (See screenshot) https://ps.w.org/wp-discord/assets/screenshot-1.png?rev=1579918

    2.) There is not currently a way to change layout of the plugin. You should be able to overwrite with your own css if necessary. I will have to do some testing and see if I can replicate that. If in it’s own layout container the widget should flow naturally within that container. I will look into this.

    Thanks for trying out the plugin!

    Thank you! I didn’t see that channel setting in Discord or know it was important to get the button to work.

    I got the Disc app to move in my footer by widening all of my pages. I think it takes up more width area than it needs to which would make it kinda hard to fit into other areas of a site. IDK if this is because long names could stretch it out though.

    Anyways, thank you for the best Disc plugin for WordPress. ??
