Comments are enabled but my page is saying comments closed

    Hi Guys

    My site and page has comments enabled but one of my pages says “comments closed”

    I tried deavtivating comments from the page and enable them again and it is not working

    The page has the “allow comments” check box selected and it is only happening in this page

    This is the page

    At the bottom you will see “comentarios cerrados” which means comments closed in Spanish

    Any ideas?

    Hey there

    I suspect it’s the issue I was having recently.

    I also see that your blog post in question is almost a year (=365 days) old as it’s from Mar 12, 2016, so it might, indeed, be the same case/issue

    Check your Comments settings (from WP-Admin) for this entry:

    Automatically close comments on articles older than: 365 days

    Untick it.

    I found the solution

    I went to wp-admin/options-discussion.php

    and there was a setting saying to disable comments on posts older than XX days

    I changed it and I got it fixed

    I hope this helps somebody else
