• Why is there no way to embed the youtube video with specific height and width on the “thumbnail”?

I shouldn’t have to modify your code to get this to work. This is how 99% of people on earth want to embed their youtube videos by default.

Its great that you have other unnecessary functions like text anchor and JPG anchor, but you don’t even have the function that 99% of people use:

Embedding the video itself on the page at a reasonable (customizable) height and width that looks correct on both desktop and mobile…

Hi, you can customize the size of the thumbnail by editing the “wp-video-lightbox.css” file (it’s in the root directory of video lightbox plugin).

I would like to add to this.

What if the size of the thumbnails varies from page to page? For example, I may have a thumbnail on one page that’s 500 – 600 px, but the same image on another page I need 150-200. Is there no way the thumbnail size code can be added to your shortcode?

@philrat404, Unfortunately there is no option to resize the thumbnail at the moment. You need to resize the thumbnail manually and specify the path to the image in the shortcode.
