When are cache files deleted?

  • Hi Guys

    I just noticed that after I delete a page the cached data for that page is kept on disk and not deleted.

    I was wondering when does W3TC delete old cached files? I’m particularly talking about these files.

    _index_ssl.html_gzip.old
    _index_ssl.html.old

  • It doesn’t delete old files, instead it renames it to “old”, because it doesn’t need as much resources like if the files would be deleted.
