    Hi

I have started noticing very slow load times for this plugin. around 15 secs, while other page content and plugins completed in around 2 secs.

This has only recently started happening, and so I’m wondering what could have caused this, and how to fix it?

    Thanks for your help

    Lenny

Thanks for contacting us. I would be glad to help out, can you please include these 3 things?

    1. The shortcode you are trying to use.
    2. An example link to the problem in question.
    3. The report from the System Info page of our plugin. Click here if you are unsure how to do this. https://www.slickremix.com/docs/system-info-page/

It’s probably worth noting too that other plugins that do not need to access outside API information from 3rd party hosts will be for the most part faster in general. Although we do our best to create an awesome plugin we are at the mercy somewhat of these providers… so if their API/servers are running into troubles then the drawback will hit FTS feeds at times unfortunatley.

    How did you make out?

    Hi Spencer

I noted your advice re access to third party API information sometimes being slower, and thought I’d see if the problem persisted. However the display became broken on the site yesterday, and I have disabled the plugin at the moment.

We’re about to make an update that should speed things up. Keep your eyes peeled for Version 2.1.7 coming this week.
