Since updating the plugin a week ago, I no longer have data in Analytics for my affiliate links. I use pretty link to add /affiliate/ to all my affiliate url’s so I can track them as outbound links, even though they are internal links that 301 redirect to the affiliate link.

I used to have click-data for these links on my event section in Analytics, but that disappeared after the latest updates.

I have filled out the “affiliate” section in the plugin settings with path + label. I also checked the box “Using javascript” in the “Track outbound clicks..” setting.

    Can you guys help?

Thanks Chris, I’ll update right away and check ??

I just updated to ver .14 but I cannot see tracked affiliate events anymore. Even exploring the html code I cannot see anything useful.
At the moment, any outbound link seems not to be tracked anymore.
    Can you please help me?

    Hi there,
In 6.0.14, the JS is in it’s own file (frontend.min.js). There was a bug in .13 that prevented the affiliate events from being tracked, so if you recently updated, you’ll need to set the view range in Google Analytics (because it does not by default) to include today’s date

I just installed the latest version two days ago, and I still cannot get it to work. Still no data… any tips?

    Hi there,
Assuming you are on the latest version of MonsterInsights, make sure that JS events tracking is turned on in the Demographics tracking subtab of Tracking, and then make sure to clear any sort of plugin or server based CDN, concatenation, minification or caching.

Thank you for answering so quick @?hris.

I cannot see any setting for “JS events tracking” on the “Demographics” tab:

    Hi there,
I apologize I meant to say Engagement subtab (the one right above it)

OK thanks, but I don’t see that option, I can only choose “Javascript”…
    settings

I’m having the same problem. I’ve upgraded to the newest version of the plugin and the Track outbound clicks and download links using javascript is checked. But it’s not tracking any of my affiliate links.

JS is an acroynm for Javascript.
