Template Name: MyTheme not working

  • I am using Version 2.6.2 and I cannot set a template file.
    I have it like this:

    <?php
/*
Template Name: Tags_List
*/
?>

    When I add new pages I cannot see that Page Template. Anyone knows why? It is working on older WP.
