    Hi,

Our homepage is long and makes significant use of anchor links to various sections of the page. How can I track these in Google Analytics using this plugin, as opposed to just tracking the current page? Eg. I’d like to see when someone goes to ourwebsite.com/#about-us and ourwebsite.com/#our-services.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,
We’re looking at adding support for direct tracking of anchor links in the future through our new JS events system, but we don’t offer it at the current time. That being said you can flip on the setting for enhanced link attribution and then you should be able to use this Chrome extension built by Google to visually see those click percentages when browsing your home page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/page-analytics-by-google/fnbdnhhicmebfgdgglcdacdapkcihcoh?hl=en

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for your response. Do you have an ETA? Is the anchor tracking/new JS events system likely to be released in a week, a month, a year?

We’re not sure yet as to an exact eta but later this year
