My wordpress site is too slow

  • Hello guys,

    I’m having lots of troubles with my wordpress site pronadar.com.br

    It’s very slow and I don’t know how to make it faster, I’ve searched and did somethings but I can’t really make this work.

  • You are not kidding when you say it’s slow.
    I tested your website on Google’s PageSpeed Insights it says there that your server responded in 20,4 seconds. Try contacting your hosting provider.

    without looking any further, one of your biggest problems will be the carousel with large images…. they look great but take a long time to load.. lose the carousel would be my advice… and optimize other images in terms of size…

    I see you’re using a minification system for js, html and css – what are you using? I have had good experiences on all my sites with the W3 Total Cache plugin.

    I also ran your site through webpagetest.org and it looks like your images, particularly the png file of bg_dark_man are taking a long time to load. I would compress the images either manually or by using a the Smush It plugin.

    The waterfall graph shows your html and css files are taking a long time to load as well – did you run your code through the W3C validator (https://validator.w3.org/) to make sure there isn’t any code holding you up?
