Add to Cart and product attributes on mouseover

Hello,

We are revamping our ecommerce site and are a little stuck. We currently have grouped products so that you can visit the art page and pick materials (metal, canvas, etc.) and then that will take you the the material page where you can pick a pattern. When you click the pattern, we show size options. I’ve recently seen some sites (specifically gilt.com) that implement a certain feature that we want to use as well. When you’re on the catalog page, if you hover over an image of a product, the ‘quick view’ will pop up within the image and give you attributes as well as a view or add to cart option. I like this over the traditional quick view pop up that creates a new window, but i’m having a hard time finding a plugin/extension or shortcode that creates this effect.
