  • Hello @lindajerlam,

To increase the length of an excerpt on posts and the front page slider, please go to your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Post Settings > Excerpt Length.
Now, you can set the excerpt length as your wish.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks Rojina. That works on the post excerpt, but not the front page slider. I have the post excerpt set to 100 words, and that works fine. The front page slider shows 25 words only,

I want to apologize for the late reply first.

Thankyou. The excerpt setting does not show by default, it’s necessary to check it in ‘screen options’ before it appears. But then it works for the slider.

I wish you had told me this initially when I asked a week ago about the excerpt length on the slider. We had to re-write all the descriptions to short ones, and the client was not happy, and now I have to re-write them again.
