    Hi Support,

I manage a number of websites, and have been updating the Monster Insights plugin to the latest version throughout all of them. I’m having an issue with one of my websites when I update the plugin, or attempt to activate it.

When I activate/update the plugin, the admin area of the website becomes inaccessible. The website becomes accessible if I deactivate the plugin via FTP. This issue only comes up with one of my websites. The rest of my websites have had no problems updating to the new / latest version of the Monster Insights plugin.

Do you think this might be happening because of a conflict with another plugin perhaps?

Getting help with this would be great as I’d very much like to get the Google Analytics for the website back up an running. I’m happy to give admin access to the website to figure out the problem.

    Cheers,

    David

Same problem here. I remove the plugin and I can access the site again.

@yopaapps if you can contact us via monsterinsights.com/contact we’d really appreciate it. We want to figure out why a subset of our users are having this problem

    Thanks!

    -Chris

Had exactly the same issue. Ended up disabling the plugin until a fix can be found.

I’ve got the same issue. Monsterinsights have pretty well shut the website admin down. Unfortunately asking me to use the contact form isn’t that much help either. How exactly are you even supposed to create an account to even begin communicating with you?

Where can we get previous version so I get keep client happy?

Tried to rollback to version 6.0.1 and then 6.0.0 (previous working versions)

When I try to activate plugin, I lose access to the site (front-end and back-end)

    Hi there,
Contacting us via our contact form does not require an account. You just go to https://www.monsterinsights.com/contact/ and click on “fill out a form”

    -Chris

Tried that. Would I be correct to assume that your contact form doesn’t do send confirmations? Instinctively it just doesn’t look to be working either

    Hi there,
We’ve been getting emails from our Pro users and pre-sale questions this morning with it. If it’s not working for you, you can email us directly at [email protected]

    -Chris

My host had deactivated the plug in for me and the functionality has restored. I note however that there is an update pending to be processed on the plug in. Is this a revision of the update that appears to have caused the issue? or is it likely the same one that didn’t complete fully the first time?

    Hi there,
We’ve just released a comprehensive update that should solve all issues reported today. This version number is 6.0.4.

    -Chris

Just installed 6.0.4 and immediately deleted. Still kills the site (admin and front-end)

See above ticket for the cause of this. Update 6.0.11 released to solve that problem

    -Chris

Activated 6.0.11 without any other plugins and it works.

Does not work (same error) if I activate WooCommerce Google Analytics Pro plugin.
